We worked with the Frederick Douglass Boulevard Alliance (FDBA), a Harlem-based nonprofit and community improvement organization supporting small businesses along one of the neighborhood’s key commercial corridors. At the time, FDBA was establishing its presence around Frederick Douglass Boulevard, promoting the area as “Harlem’s Gateway” and “Restaurant Row.”
Our work began with the development of logo concepts and an initial brand identity direction, creating a visual foundation for the organization’s launch. We then designed and developed FDBA’s original website, translating that identity into a digital presence that introduced the organization and its mission while showcasing businesses along the corridor.
The website also provided a central destination for residents and visitors to discover participating businesses, upcoming events, and community initiatives. Although FDBA has since rebranded, this early work helped establish the organization’s original visual and digital presence in Harlem.
